Ultimately, my group draw the lots and got this as our theme. It was not easy to plan out all our scenes and shots due to the limitation in lines, which makes it even more difficult to express what has to be expressed. We really had to put our creativity minds together, by using the different props to enhance the overall feel that we want, such as pasting newspapers around, using coffee to make the notebook look old, using a humidifier as smoke and many more. As an editor, I was able to learn how to apply the various effects (eg. smoke as transition) as well as the colour correcting techniques. The editing process went pretty smooth and I got to learn about editing a loading bar using the Adobe After Effects. It was tough because it was the first time I did such an effect from scratch. I managed to find references online and successfully did the 8 seconds loading bar. Having experience doing glitches, it went smoothly while editing. The effect of the explosion was something I have never done before and I'm glad I had the chance to learn something new once again! Overall, I am quite satisfied with this and the response from the audience was pretty good as well! 一直以来想尝试旋转拍摄手法的我，终于在本视频中挑战了。剪辑过程进行的非常顺利，而我也学习到了如何使用Adobe After Effects来从零开始剪辑特效。虽然从零开始剪辑特效并不容易，但通过网上的一些资源，我成功的完成了8秒的加载栏。由于之前有剪辑多毛刺效应的经验，编辑时并不难。爆炸场面的特效剪辑是我从未做过的事情，因此我很高兴能有机会再次学习新的东西！总的来说，我这次的拍摄很满意，而观众在观看视频后的反应也是很好的！

It wasn't easy as there were a lot of colour corrections that has to be made to suit the genre of the trailer. Being the second time doing glitches, I tried adding layers and filters to make it more convincing to eyes of the audience. I wanted to add infrasound to make the film more chilling but I wasn't able to because I didn't manage to find sources! I really hope that I will be able to challenge myself to editing more of such films and try out adding infrasound to boost the viewing experience. 这是我第一次剪辑一个惊悚预告片。为了营造出理想的气氛，我得进行调色过程。这是我第二次尝试剪辑与毛刺效应有关的影片，因此我添加了不同的层次和滤镜，为了让影片能够更有说服力。虽然我想添加次声来使影片更惊悚，但我却没找到资料来完成！我希自己能够有更多的机会去挑战剪辑这类的影片，并尝试添加次声来提高观赏体验。

The editing process went rather smooth so it was easy to pick out which film and interview I would want to use for editing. This was the first time I edited a 8 minute documentary by myself, where I had to be especially careful about the flow of the film, and I had to think of how I could edit the film so that the audience will be able to sit through the video, still being curious about what will happen next. There were a lot of considerations to make and I decided to research on documentaries for reference purpose. Throughout the editing process, I had a rather harder time choosing the right song because it had to suit the mood, as well as one that will not overpower the interviewee when he is talking. Overall, I've really gained new experiences and learnings, and this is also a film that I'm very proud of! 从练习负责人和受访者、与讲师讨论故事情节，到决定我们要从他的故事中带出什么讯息，我们经历了一段漫长的计划。由于我知道想使用哪些片段，我的剪辑工作进行的挺顺利的。这是我第一次独自剪辑一步8分钟的纪录片。在剪辑的过程中，我必须特别留意纪录片的流程，并且考虑要用怎样的手法来剪辑以便让观众能够在观看纪录片中，仍然对接下来会发生什么感到好奇。由于我必须考虑的因素不少，我并决通过观看其他的纪录片来进行研究和参考。在整个剪辑过程中，我认为较难的就是选择合适的背景音乐。因为它必须结合我们纪录片的一个风格和感觉，并且不会影响到受访者的访谈。总的来说，我确实有了一个新的体验，并学习到了许多，这也是我为之骄傲的一部纪录片！

Hence, I had to do colour correction during editing. Also, because of lighting issues I spent a rather long time deciding on the colour of the titles and where I should place it so that it will be visible and not affect it visually. Overall, I learned about lighting from the filming process and I still had an enjoyable time editing! 这是在一间5房式的房子里进行拍摄，而地点有一些空间和角度限制，及灯光的问题。因此，我得在剪辑的过程中进行调色。另外，由于灯光的一些问题，我花了一些时间来思考标题的颜色应该使用什么，以及应该将标题放置在什么地方才不受到视觉上的影响。总体而言，我从拍摄过程中学到了有关灯光的知识，而我也仍然非常的享受剪辑的过程！

The framing of the video was very important because HDBs are mostly very proportionate and it might look weird even if the scene is slightly tilted. As this is an iconic HBD flat, I have decided to match up the transitions, subtitles and background music, in hopes of bringing back some memories for the viewers. 在拍摄这部影片的过程中，我是单独进行拍摄的，因此我得克服别人在看着我拍摄的感觉。在拍摄中，我必须放心思去思考自己要如何取景，因为政府组屋都有它自己独特的比例，即使场景稍微的倾斜也可能会看起来很奇怪。由于这是个较有历史的组屋，我在剪辑中会把画面、字幕和背景音乐搭配在一起，希望观众能够在看完这段影片后，勾起一些回忆。
