Singapore management university (2020-)
SMU has provided me with opportunities to gain new experiences during my course of study thus far. I am delighted to have met like-minded friends, where we push each other through every challenge met. During my first year of study, I was able to be a part of the organising committee as the Marketing Associate for the Freshmen Orientation 2021, as well as the EXCO of SMU Archery as a MarComm Director. With these hands-on experiences, I was able to broaden my skills and be more certain of where my interests lies. SMU has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, through working with people from all walks of life, and presentations that made me nervous yet allowed me to gain valuable experiences. I can't wait to see what SMU has in store for me for the next few semesters to come!

ALWAYS THAT SOMETHING XTRA
The start of a new phase; where I embark on a new journey, meeting new friends and learning things that I have always wanted to know more about. Throughout the course of 3 years in CMC, I have gained a deeper understanding of filming, photography, writing and many other skills. I have also gotten the chance to be involved in dramas as a calefare and a short intern at the news broadcasting department. In my final year, I am very thankful to be able to intern at August Pictures, where I was involved in various productions such as drama and current affairs. All these real-life experiences have really broadened my horizon and I hope to have many other opportunities to put what I have learned into action.

HMS SOCIETY.
Being part of the HMS Society allowed me to explore the different sides of me, through planning camps and events, where I get to meet and work with people from all walks of life. The opportunities that I have gotten really did stretched my potential a lot, where I am able to fully utilise my skills and learn how to juggle with the massive amount of work load on top of academics. As part of the Publicity Department in HMS Society, I was tasked with a lot of designing and video editing jobs which allows me to put my skills to test and do more research on the various editing techniques, learning more skills each day. I am really very thankful to be able to be in HMS Society, a CCA that stretches my strengths and develops my hidden potential.

THAILAND, CHIANGMAI 2018.
One of the most memorable things I've done in Year 1 was to embark on the TCP YEP trip to Thailand, Chiang Mai, Pakia Village. Other than experiencing life in the village, I have forged beautiful friendship and memories together with my friends from NP as well as the Thai students that have joined us on this trip. It really gave me a sense of great accomplishment together with the team as we saw the fruits of the labour after the course of almost 2 weeks. Up in the mountains, we built water tanks for the villagers from scratch, cooked our 3 meals, taught the children English and Mathematics, had camp fire every night to fight the cold and visited their provision shop where the snacks they sell are equivalent to a few cents in SGD. This is definitely a trip to remember forever and I am really thankful to have been given this opportunity to bring joy to others and to gain valuable experiences from the trip!
